    Hi All

A priority for the VAG engineer coming over is the long life service reset on VAG, ie to make it easier!

We plan to automate the function so that it resets all the relevant channel numbers one after the other with one button press instead of having to read and change up to 6 channel nos.

Please do follow the procedure in our documentation area until then, we have seen a couple of CAN vehicles where all the channels for time, distance etc were wrongly set, one by using the reset function in "Expert function" on V30 for non CAN vehicles, and the other using a Snap on scanner standard service reset on a CAN vehicle.

Not a fault with the scanners, problem arose from using the wrong function and can be rectified, although I have pointed out to AB that its not exactly clear when to use it so they need to add some text to specify which vehicles you should use it on.

    Andrew,

You mention the documentation area? Where can this be found?

    Thanks in advance.
